Mike was a craftsman from an early age, and while studying engineering, he started helping friends and family with home repairs. He quickly decided that he wanted to be more hands-on than being an engineer would provide. Mike had a natural aptitude for understanding complex structural problems and an attention to detail that make his framing repairs look like fine finish carpentry.
Before fully committing to a life in the construction industry, Mike founded and helped run an international nonprofit delivering aide to rural communities in the Amazon.
